Christmas 2013

This year for Christmas we decided to join with the Harwood's and give the kids a trip to San Diego.  We decorated for Christmas at our house but actually spent Christmas at my parents house so that it would be easier to get to the airport on Christmas Day.  I made a Shutterfly Book about the trip itself so I will just include the pictures of  Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's house and pictures of the little Christmas celebration we had at our house before we went to spend Christams in Perry.

Haylie's Baptism

Haylie turned 8 on December 1, 2013 and was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on December 7, 2013.  We celebrated her birthday with the Oberholtzer side of the family while we were in Perry for Thanksgiving.  Then, the following weekend, Grandma and Grandpa Oberholtzer and Uncle Darin came to Price to be a part of Haylie's baptism.  Darin and I gave talks at the baptism and Grandma and Grandpa gave the prayers, and Dave did the baptizing and confirming. Since most of our family is far away, most of them couldn't make the trip to the baptism but we did have a lot of support from our ward.  I am so proud of the decisions Haylie is making in her life.  She has a strong desire to do what is right and keeps our family on the right path.  I can't believe she is already 8!  Time has really flown by!
